Datarella to present SmartAid at CrowdTuesday

CrowdTuesday – Crowdfunding Trends – Blockchain use cases for crowdfunding, 15.00-16.00, 3 November 2020 (webinar)

ECN is organising an online CrowdTuesday in cooperation with the Blockpool, an acceleration programme for 25 SMEs pioneering blockchain technology, invites you to join its webinar on blockchain use cases for crowdfunding. Two SMEs will present their use cases and answer questions. The first SME provides technology for tracing and managing transparently donations, this will be particularly interesting for the philanthropy sector. The second one provides an innovative solution to fund and invest in live & creative productions powered by blockchain technology, this is especially attractive for the cultural and creative sector (CCS).

Datarella, a Block.IS Innovator, will present their solution – SmartAid!

AGENDA – Crowdfunding Trends – Blockchain use cases for crowdfunding

15:00 – 15.10: Why is Blockchain relevant for the crowdfunding industry? Conny Weber – European Crowdfunding Network

15:10 – 15:25: Use case 1: SmartAid – traceable donations, Philipp Kothe – Datarella

SmartAid solves the hardest challenge of donations by providing full transparency of money flows at low administrative costs. A donor is more likely to give more if she can be sure that her money will be used in a transparent, efficient, and beneficial way. By leveraging Blockchain technology, SmartAid provides full transparency of transactions and a highly efficient donation process.

15.25 – 15.40: Use case 2: Staxe – financing cultural and creative events through tokenization

Staxe turns live events such as concerts, conferences, festivals and more into an investment opportunity through Asset Tokenization. Staxe’s core purpose is to enable access to resources and funds to the highly illiquid market of live events to support European cultural infrastructure, while also exploring other blockchain-based features such as Peer-to-Peer Ticket financing, event promotion bounties, organization of volunteers, cooperation for social or environmental causes and more!

15.40 – 16.00: Discussion, question and answers
